Orange Futures was a promotion of 21 of the brightest and best young women novelists.

Bookshops and libraries

The Prize produces excellent point of sale packs for use in bookshops and libraries promoting the Orange Broadband Prize for Fiction and the Orange Broadband Award for New Writers. Contents vary year on year.

Events

The shortlisted authors' publishers arrange for the writers to attend special reading and/or discussion events organised around the announcement of the winner.

Keep an eye on the key dates page for details of this year’s events. Many libraries also run Orange Prize for Fiction events: check with your local library.
